What will STAIRRS be doing ? - The Work Plan

The STAIRRS project comprises of three main work areas known as work packages (WPs) :

• WP 1 : Railway Noise Strategy Support System
  
• WP 2 : Characterisation & Classification Methodologies
  
• WP 3 : Consensus Building Workshops on Reducing Noise from Trains
  
• WP 4 : Management

These tackle the critical elements required to develop the most appropriate railway noise reduction strategy.
